Sabina Fluxa, daughter of hotel mogul Iberostar Group, Miguel Fluxa Rossello, has purchased a property in the vicinity of Yalikavak for 3,150 million USD.
According to Takvim newspaper, the home is on a 4,000 square meter property, and is expected to be the first step in a planned 400 million USD investment in a luxury resort located in
the bay of Tilkicik.
The residential purchase is the first step in establishing an Iberoresort on the Bodrum Peninsula.
The Fluxa family is well known for its famous footwear line, established in Mallorca two generations ago. Miguel Fluxa Rosello is worth 2.1 billion USD according to Forbes magazine. Sabina Fluxa is the sole owner of Iberostar hotels and resorts.
According to media reports, Sabina Fluxa is in active negotiations with a well known Italian architectural firm to prepare preliminary plans for the luxury resort near Yalikavak.
